Right To Read

We have a right to read,

We have a right to appear 

make new friends

discover places never known before.

We have a right to climb aboard

slip through the clouds

and visit other impossible worlds.

We have a right to laugh,

Shed sad tears, 

Breathe faster as we flip the pages–

We have a right to know

as our hearts beat together 

We have the right to read!
